Then the aviator tried to head the machine Into the wind again, but tho rudder struck the water and the apparatus ap-paratus collapsed. At wood climbed on top of the aeroplane and, looking toward hl3 friends on shore, waived his hat. Those on shore rushed for boats and several small craft soon were headed In his direction. They came none too soon, for as the first one came up the hydroaeroplane hydro-aeroplane sank in ten feet of water. At-wood At-wood wus pulled Into a boat, uninjured. |
