Show REORGANIZED CHURCH l PBTERL! MEETING Attendance Is Good and Interest Inter-est in Beneficial Conference Confer-ence Is Deep. The quarterly conference of the He-organized He-organized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints convened at the church headquarters in Labor hall Friday morning: morn-ing: at 10 o'clock. Tho a.ltendanco was large, being far above expectation?. Delegates from all the branches in the state, together with friends, were present pres-ent at the morning session. Elder T. W. Chatham, president of this district, was the officiating officer at Ili3 meeting Friday. At this session "on.'de.rrblo routine business pertaining to the work which has been done the past .iv.arter was transacted. Religion elassos :n the Sunday-schools wcic organised, and considerable con-siderable . work for the ensuing quarter was mapped out. There, was much en thusiasm manifested and from indications indica-tions the present assembly of the Saints will be the most successful in the history his-tory of the organization. In the morlnng session there were a number of speakers, who dwelt at some length upon tho good work In which the church Is engaged. Thoro was profitable discussion, tind tho various ,llsi;outscs were listened to with a great deal of attention. at-tention. Today and Sunday regular morning and afternoon sessions will be held, at which "all uncompleted business will be finished. Delegates will be chosen to represent thi district at tho KCiiernl conference, which will be held this year at Independence. Mo. The work of electing the officers in the various districts will also be completed com-pleted at the session today. |
