Show NO CESSATION OP UTAH COPPER PRODUCTION It Is a matter of general knowledge that the Utah Copper company Is Increasing In-creasing the capacity of Its Garfield concentrating con-centrating plants by the addition of Garfield Gar-field or Roughing tables, while tho stamp system originally put in by the Boston Consolidated company, now that the mill is the property of 1 lie Utah Copper. Is being replaced In conformation with (he original Utah Copper or .Magna mill. It has been a matter of speculation whether or not the Utah Copper companv during this replacement period vlll be able to maintain its usual large tonnage treatment, treat-ment, but those who know, or who are In a position to know, assert that there will bo. no falling off In efficiency during dur-ing tills period. The Magna plant is being revamped In rapid fashion, three sections already having hav-ing been Improved by the addition of the Garfield tables, which means three sections sec-tions ha ve had I heir capacity raised from i.00 to 1000 tons or ore each per dav. By the time It Is due to close down thy old Boston or tho Arthur mill. If snrh a course Is necessary, the Magna plain should be In shape, with tho assistance or the Copperton mill, to maintain an even tonnage.
