Show Mr. and Mrs. Charles Ivie of Green River arrived Saturday to visit several weeks In Bingham and Copperfield. Mrs. Russell Sumnieht of San Luis Obispo left Thursday morn-in morn-in to join Dr. Sumnieht after a two week visit here with friends and relatives. Mr. and Mrs. H. F. Dunn and family spent Sunday and Monday Mon-day in Eureka visiting Mrs. Stella Stel-la Shea, Mrs. Dunn's mother. Dr. and Mrs. T. K. Seager of Mountain City, Nev., were visitors vis-itors in Bingham Canyon last week-end. Mrs. Seager is the former Miss Dorothy Hodson, a niyte at the Bingham hospital and clinic the past several years. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Newman and children of Vallejo, Cal., are spending this week in Bingham and Provo, visiting relatives and friends. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Nichols left Tuesday morning for 10 days in Los Angeles. Mrs. Fanny Johnson, who was operated on at the 'Bingham hospital Thursday, is reported as progressing nicely. Anna Lee Burress, daughter of j Mr. and Mrs. Leland G. Burress, came home Monday evening after af-ter a 10-week vacation in Gunnison Gun-nison with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Burton S. Eggert-sen. Eggert-sen. Art Cook reported back to work on the Salt Lake county garbage truck Monday after a five-week layoff following an accident in which he suffered three broken ribs. LOCALNOTES Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Adderlcy and sons, Chick and Ren, were home Labor day after a delightful delight-ful vacation of over two weeks. They went to Lake Tahoe, San Fancisco, Hollywood, Tia Juana, Cong Beach, San Diego, Reno and Boulder dam. Mr. and Mrs. Ben McAllister and daughter, Sally Ann, were dinner guests Labor day at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Anthon Jacobson and daughter, Mary Agnes. Later the couples went swimming at Wasatch plunge. The occasion was the McAllister's McAllis-ter's wedding anniversary. Gail Shelley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Shelley, enrolled enroll-ed this week at Tooele high school. En route to Los Angeles, Miss - Mary Helen Baum of Frankfort, Indiana, arrived Wednesday to spend a day with an aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Alger Baum J of Lead Mine. Mrs. George Kampros and two daughters of Lead Mine left Friday Fri-day to spend two weeks with relatives in Helper. Paul Parissenti plans to leave today (Friday) for Los Angeles to attend college this year. He will join his stepfather and mother, moth-er, Mr. and Mrs. James Dell Os-bel Os-bel at Huntington Park, Calif. Mr. and Mrs. Max Spendlove I of Salt Lake City spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Spendlove. Spend-love. Formerly employed by the Utah Power and Light company here, Max Is now assistant engineer en-gineer at the U. S. bureau of mines in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Larson of Afton, Wyo., left Saturday for their home after spending the summer here. Mr. Larson is prin-cipal prin-cipal of the Afton grade school. |
