| Show the following amendments have been proposed b v lii G C in the council to bo made to the act entitled branding and herding cattle SEC 2203 every person who shall unlawfully or willfully drive off any stock from its range in this territory without the consent of the thereof and shall not immediately return such stock to the place from whence driven shall bo guilty of a misdemeanor SEC 2204 all persons other than butchers who occasionally slaughter for beef either for home consumption or other purposes shall pro servo the hide of each animal for 20 days next after the killing of such animal and upon demand by any parson shall exhibit the same SEC 2205 it shall be unlawful for any person other than the 0 aner or his agent or employee or other person duly authorized to skin remove from the carcass the skin hide or pelt of any neat cattle or sheep found dead SEC the county court of any county when such court deems it necessary for the public welfare may appoint one or more detectives to discover and detect violations of the stock laws within auy such county and such detectives shall bo paid from the county treasury such compensation pensa tion as may bo fixed by the county court the county courts of the several counties of this territory doiy bottor and pay from the treasury rewards for the detection oe parsons violating tho provisions of this act SEC 2207 any person who shall drive or bring neat cattle sheep or horses to or through this territory shall be deemed a cattle drover and any such drover who shall fail or nei to carefully examine b s herd after driving them over any p artion of this territory and eo and vo away from his herd uil battlo sn ia and horses not branded with i s brand or to which ho may be ont lud to the possession shall be i guilty of a misdemeanor SEC 2208 it shall be unlawful or ay person to load during the time any neat cattle horses chuop or swine in any railway car in ins territory for the purpose of shipment ment avor any railway and it h rl bo unlawful for any railway company to burnish any railway car for the purpose of loading any cattle borsek sheep or swine in the night time for shipment over any railway in this territory SEC 2209 any person who shall wilfully do any act prohibited or declared unlawful by this act or who shall wilfully neglect or refuse to do any act herein required for which not in this act prescribed shall be guilty of a misdemeanor |
