In tho dry goods market a better undertone un-dertone Is manifest. Western johbors report a better business for fall merchandise mer-chandise from salenmon on the road. There is an entire absence of export demand de-mand at existing quotations. Prints arc not moving as actively as had been hoped for. In woolen goods duplicate orders arc coming In slowly because of the radical -advance. All domestic hido markets aro dull, but the entire situation Is firm, with no further tendency toward an advance. Prices have been well sustained on both sides for sole and upper leather. |
