Show shim mm ! is be mwum Men Specially Selected to Hear the Complaints Against Superintendent Su-perintendent Thomas. Superintendent of Public Instruction Nelson. Dr. E. G. CJowans, judge of the Juvenile court of Salt Lake county, Rabbi Charles J. Frcund of the Jewish congregation congre-gation of this city, and Nathan T. Harris, district attorney of Weber county, with the board of trustees of the State Industrial Indus-trial school at Ogden, will determine the truth or falsity of the stautllng charges against Superintendent 11. 1 1. Thomas of the Industrial school. The trustees arc Harry S. Joseph of this city. H. .1. Peery of Ogden and John Walsh of Farmlngtou, Davis county. The four outside members of the investigating in-vestigating committee were named by Governor Spry Thursday. The selecting of four outsiders to co-operate with the board of trustees in the Investigation was at the Instance of the trustees themselves. The governor received the charges and the demand from Ogden for the removal of. air. Thomas Monday night, and after looking them over turned them over to the trustees, with a request as to what action they favored. The trustees communicated com-municated with the governor Thursday, recommending the naming of four outsiders out-siders to act with them in tho Investigation, Investiga-tion, and the appointments followed. The first session of the investigation will bo held at Ogden. beginning at 11 o'clock next Monday morning. The entire en-tire Investigation will be held there, for the reason that nearly all. if not all. the complainants against :Mr. Thomas live there. |
