Show A musicale planned by the M.E. Community churcn Sunday school was presented at 7:30 p.m. last night at the Highland Boy Community House. Mrs. M. F. May of Pasadena, Cal., arrived in Salt Lake City Sunday and came to Bingham Monday for a visit of indefinite length with her daughter, Mrs. Mary Culleton, and grandchildren, grandchil-dren, Jimmy and Molly May Culleton. Cul-leton. Mrs. Anna Moore, Mrs. George Knudsen and Mrs. Ida Mugfur attended a miscellaneous shower at Sandy in honor of Miss Doris Crapo at the home of Mrs. C. R. Nelson last Thursday evening. I Mrs. Marie Wicks and son, Johnnie, are making their home this winter with Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Sorenson. Mrs. Wicks, and son are from Meeker, 'Colo., Johnnie enrolled this week for his junior year at the Bingham high school. Teachers of the Bingham high school who moved into Copper-ton Copper-ton apartments left vacant by faculty members and their. families fami-lies who are now residing in the recently finished duplex houses include Mr. and Mrs. James Seal, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Kuhni, Mr. and Mrs. Warren Allsop and Miss Myrth Harvey and Miss Verna Walker. Miss Mildred Jensen of Denver, Den-ver, Colo., left Saturday for her home after a ten-day visit here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Jensen of Highland Boy. Miss Jensen made the trip from Denver and back by plane and I during her stay here was entertained enter-tained by friends in Salt Lake City. , Tuesday evening eight close friends of Julian Baum were en- tertained at a birthday supper given by Mr. Baum's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alger Baum, in his honor. Mrs. Anna Moore left for Aspen, As-pen, Colo., Sunday to spend the winter with her mother, Mrs. John P. Anderson. Dr. and Mrs. R. W. Freeman and son, Ralph Joseph, of Fillmore Fill-more visited with Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Scussel and with Mr. and Mrs. John Vietti Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Ted Robison and sons visited Sunday with Mr. Robison's parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. II. Robison of Pleasant Grove. LOCALNOTES Louis Zissi, 20, of 544 West Fourth South, Salt Lake City, was arrested Monday morning by R. J. Contratto. Zissi pleaded guilty that same day before Judge Alfred Henkel and was fined $10 on the charge of speeding speed-ing 35 miles an hour in a 15 mile zone. |
