Willard Nichols acted as master of ceremonies. cere-monies. Dale Johnston, jaycee president, gave the address of welcome and Coach Bailey San-tistevan San-tistevan introduced team members. mem-bers. Responses from the team were made by Captain Frank Callen, Student Body President David Ireland and Kenneth Reynolds. An inspirational talk on education educa-tion in football was given by Dr. Paul S. Richards, president of Jordan school district board of education. Dr. C. N. Jensen, superintendent su-perintendent of Jordan school district, spoke on the humorous side of life. E. L. "Dick" Romney, athletic coach at the Utah State Agricultural Agricul-tural college, was the principal speaker. Coach Romney paid the team and Coach Santistevan a very high compliment when he said, "The Bingham team this year was as well-coached and as snappy as any high school team I have ever seen." Community singing was led by Joel Jensen. |
