Show NO. 1 FIREMEN ELECT OFFICERS Chief Ray Tatton of No. 1 Fire department was reelected to head the group next year, at the meeting meet-ing held Wednesday evening. Other officers named were Mar-lin Mar-lin Schultz, assistant chief; Lor-en Lor-en Stokes, secretary; Joseph P. Scussel, treasurer; William Cook, chairman; Eugene Jenkins, assistant as-sistant chairman. Reporting on the two fires here Monday, Chief Tatton said a fire reported at 6:10 a. m. at 139 Main street was attributed to sparks on a wooden shingle roof. Damage was $5 and no equipment equip-ment was needed in extinguishing extinguish-ing the fire. At 8:15 a. m. a fire at 192 Main street was caused by a defective flue, Chief Tatton reported. No equipment was used and no damage reported. The firemen were on duty 15 minutes. O |
