Show PEOPLES five delegates to the county convention elected from provo pursuant to the call of tho member for provo of alie country central committee several members of the peoples party in this precinct met at the court house on friday evening last to elect five delegates to the county convention which is to be held on saturday nest on motion ofa E booth A U smoot jr was elected chairman and on motion of J B keeler V L Hallid aywas secretary the object of the call was then read a published in THE ENQUIRER on motion of W H brown the meeting proceeded to elect five delegates dete gates from precinct to the county convention on nomination of jas E daniels A 0 smoot jowas elected from the first ward on the nomination of J B keeler W it H was elected from the second ward on nomination of W R H W H brown was elected from the ward on nomination of J E booth JB keeler was elected from alie fourth ward on nomination of W H brown W H dusenberry was elected delegate at large on motion of J E booth alternates were elected as follows C D glazier walter scott D Holdaway Jas A bean and W D alexander J E booth was chosen as the domines for justice of the peace for provo precinct W H brown was chosen as tho nominee for the second justice of the peace for provo precinct william strong and joseph fausett as the nominees for constables for provo p reci oct A D holdaway was elected as the precinct member of the county central committee for the ensuing year and jos T mcewan was elected secretary it was moved and carried that the delegates be authorized to fill any vacancy in the office of justice of the peace or of constable that might occur from any cause meeting then adjourned |
