CLAIMING GAINS FOR PROHIBITION PARTY CHICAGO, Nov. 1. With the assertion that the voto for the Prohibition party next Tuesday will be twice as large as the largest ever before cost for the party. Chairman Charles J. Jones announced horo today that tho Prohibition nntlonal committee com-mittee has been assured on Income , of $25,000 a year for tho next four years with which to carry on Its worlt. Mr. Jones said tho financial backing had been pledged bv 10,000 prominent persons. "With the widespread Interest shown In tho work of suppressing the liquor traffic and the votes taken from the Md parties by our presidential nominee, Eugene W. Chafln, we will force the Prohibition Pro-hibition lssuo as tho dominant question In national politics." said Mr. Jones. "Every prospect Is for a wide desertion from tho Republican and Democratic to the Prohibition ranks."
