He attended at-tended morning service at tho First Presbyterian church with Ansley Wilcox, Wil-cox, a long-timo personal friend, at whose home hero President Roosevelt took the oath of office after tho death of President McKinloy; went to the Wilcox for luncheon; Inter devoted r-omo timo to correspondence, and retired re-tired early to his suite of rooms at tho Iroquois hotel. The last day of tho campaign will-bo will-bo devoted b3' the candidate to speeches j at Dunkirk, N. Y.; Ashtabula, Clevo-I Clevo-I land and Youngstown, Ohio, aftor which 'ho will proceed, during tho night, to Cincinnati, whero ho will arrivo at-S o'clock election morning. "The docision reached by Judge Taft whilo at Hot Springs, Virginia, in August, Au-gust, that it was his duty to go out and meet tho American voters faco to face, has resulted in the travel of the "Taft special" for 15,000 miles. From the Dakotas to Tennessee, from Colorado to Connecticut, through twon-ty-three- states, the candidate has p"rea.chod his causo and the Republican doctrines.
