Show Pioneer Dies at Willard. Special lo The Tribune. WILLARD, Sept. 15 This morning at 5:30 o'clock, Omer Call, one of Wlllard's progressive citizens, died from an attack at-tack of cancer of the stomach, which has been troubling him for nearly a year. Mr. Cnll and his twin brother, Homer, were born In Ohio in 1S3I. and soon after came to ITtah. settling In Wlllard over fifty years ago. They formed a partnership and built the first flour mill In nothern I'tah and one of the first In the stale. Homer died one year ago. and the death of bis twin brother seemed lo undermine Omor's health, and ho has been falling since then. Six months ago his wife. Elinor, died and his life has been hanging hang-ing In the balance since then. Tho two brothers claimed the distinction or being the oldest twins In tho United Slates al the lime of Homer's death. Mr. Call leaves the following children to mourn his death: Omle. Syrll. George. Albert. Lydln, and Aggie Cordon of Rigby. Ida.: Ellbu of Salt Lake, Justin, Yos'co and Benjamin of Brlgbam. Eliza Jensen of .Mantua. Ester of Provo. and Margaret and Wnldemar of Wlllard. The funeral will be held Thursday morning In tho iocal io-cal meeting house and burial will be In the family lot In the Willard cemetery. |
