Show Provo News Notes, Special to The Tribune. . PliOYO, Jan. 9. The snow slido in Provo canyon has been cleared awny sufficiently to allow trains to pass, and the lleber branch train made its regular regu-lar run from Provo to lleber and return today, for the first time since Monday. In tho district court today, Judge Booth disposed of the following business: busi-ness: Isaac Wolf vs Enoch Gray et al, continued until Janunrj- 23. In tho caso of Shadrick Jones vs. Provo City, tho demurrer to the amended amend-ed complaint heretofore argued and submitted, is now sustained. The ruling on the domurrer disposes of the caso in its present form. Jones suod the city for damages for the overflow of tho upper East Union canal. Tho caso of Milton C. Miles, trustee, et al, vs. the U. S. Ozocorito Mining compan" ot al was continued for the term and set for trial March 5, 1909. The officers arc still looking for Mr. and Mrs. Morris, whom it is alleged jumped a board bill at tho Boyer house m Springville. It is thought that the couple is between Springvillo and Eureka, somewhere. |
