Show 10 day vacation. They flow jy piano to San Francisco and Los Angeles. While in San Francisco thoy were the guests rf Dale's sister and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Vought. The "Spoons and Spools" 4-11 4-11 club held their first meeting meet-ing Thursday, Jan. 30 at the home of their leader Mrs. Genevieve Gen-evieve Workman. They elected elect-ed officers and ordered their books. New officers are: President, Presi-dent, Judith Nelson, reporter, Susan Workman; secretary and treasurer, Peggy Davis; song leader Ann Boss; choister, Alauna Hunt; health and safety, Diane Randall. They had a real nice time at this meeting. The co-leader working work-ing with Airs. Workman is Inez Randall. The "Super Sisters" organized organ-ized their 4-11 club. New officers offi-cers are: President La Roe Randall; Cheryl Arbuckle vice president; Clothcle Blotter, sec rotary; Pamela Mooros, treasurer; treas-urer; Kathy Smith, reporter; Susan Carr, song leader; Linda Nelson, recreation; Linda Willis, Wil-lis, health: Colone Thomas, safely. Their first meeting was spent learning about the 4-11 program and club work. Mrs. LaVell Nelson, one of their CENTERVILLE Phone AX 5-0306 Mrs. Gwena Pitts entertained entertain-ed her club on Wednesday. It was the club's annual birthday party. Games were played, gifts exchanged and refreshments refresh-ments served. 15 were present. Rozanne and Glen Nielson are happy over the arrival of their first baby, a girl, born Jan. 31. Mr. and Airs. P. H. Butler are the proud parents of a new baby girl born January 29. Mr. and Mrs. Dale Street and family have returned from leaders demonstrated sewing on buttons. The other leader is Maxine Randall. A meeting was recently held at the 1-3 ward for all 4-H leaders, the girls and their mothers. Carina Swindle and Lee Rogers were present from the county extension service. Susan Brown gave a muffin demonstration and two girls from Bountiful gave poultry demonstrations. New leaders for the 4-H work will be Maxine Max-ine Randall, LeNore Espen-shied, Espen-shied, Georgia Wilde, Wanda Clayton, Alargaret Farmer, Melva Linge, Ruby Brown, Lois Barber, Kay Gibson, La Veil Nelson, Genevieve Workman Work-man and Inez Randall. |
