The regular meeting of th" 3ounliful Lions club which! will be held February 10 at; 1 7 :30 p.m. in the banquet room ! of the scrvus drug will honor j District Governor Ken Maugh- an, or District 2!?-U as he, makes his official visit to the club. Mr. Many nan is a member of the Harms Valley Lions club and has worked hard during dur-ing his term of office to make 28-U outstanding among the four multiple districts of the State of Utah. lie was one of the active participants in planning the recently held Mid-Winter banquet ban-quet which was so successfully held in the Utah Union Building Build-ing on January 13. It was the lot of Mr. Maughan to introduce intro-duce International President, Edward Barry at this outstand-1 outstand-1 ing civic and social function at which nearly 2000 were! present. I In this visit Mr. Maughan! will receive reports of thei committee chairman and will perhaps hold a meeting with the board of directors after the regular club meeting. It is from this visit that he will make his personal appraisal of the Eountiful club. Frank Stark, Lion president urges all Bountiful Lions to be in attendance this night and really support the local club in showing their erspect and honor to the visiting officer and any members of his cabinet cab-inet that may be with him. President Stark stresses the fact that inasmuch as there was only one meeting held in January and one in December it is vital all club members be present on the 10th to do honor to the visitors and to get in the "groove" in getting committee and service projects going full steam ahead. |
