The Bchool will open on July 11 nnd contlnuo in Hessian Hes-sian until July 20. Kncouraged by tho largo attendance last yenr, a greater variety va-riety of courscn havo been added, while tho faculty has been lncrca-Mcd In number and streiujth. As In paBt years a locturer of Natlonnl reputation will bo prenont. Scvornl prominent lecturers are now being be-ing negotiated with for this purpose. Lat year the attendance numbered 219. The Btudents enrolled represented practically practi-cally overy county In the State, most of tl.o Intermouutuln States and Hevernl Enstorn and Middle West Slates. From the Interest which Is being evinced, both by old studenlH and others who aro desirous de-sirous of occupying their vacations profitably, profit-ably, there Is every reason to believe that the coming year will establish a hlgh-vnter hlgh-vnter mark In attendance. This year courses will bo offered for teachers In all tho subjects required for a State diploma, courses arranged expressly ex-pressly to moot the requirements of tho State Board of Education. Tenchers aro exempt from tho State examinations In all subjects for which they present university uni-versity credits. Since the summer achool vork has been put on the same plane n work dono during the regular school year tho credits are of great value for teachers teach-ers who aro necking Stato diplomas, |
