In executive session, yesterday ratified and made public a treaty between the United States and Japan relating to copyrights, negotiated by Mr. Grlscom and Mlnlater of State Katsura on November 10, 1W5, It provides that citizens of each country shall enjoy In the dominions of tho other the possession of copyright for their works of literature and art, as well as photographs, and against Illegal reproduction, repro-duction, on tho same basis on which poiraC3slon Is granted to tho subjects or citizens of the other.
