Show STATE WILL APPEAL. Important Question to Be Decided in a Criminal Case. Special to Tho Tribune. PROVO, June 1C District Attorney D. D. Houty today filed a bill of exceptions ex-ceptions in the case of tho State of Utah vs. Clyde Hows and William Watson. The defendants were charged with burglary in the first degree, and when the case came to trial It was dismissed dis-missed on technical grounds. From the order of dismissal the State appeals. ap-peals. The divorce case of Maggie Holman vs. Benjamin Holman has been stricken from the calendar. Marriage licenses were today issued to J. P. Cooper and Myrtle E. Griffith of Aspen, Colo., and to G. H. Heindsel-man Heindsel-man and Clara Dee Henrle of Provo. The committee having In charge the annual entertainment for the old folks of Provo and adjoining wards, met last evening and decided to take the old people to Donaus' resort in Provo canyon can-yon on Friday next. The Utah County Poultry and Pot Stock association held a meeting last evening in tho District court room. Roy Wooley was elected secretary of the association and considerable routine business was transacted. |
