Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Thomas of the Copper Gate apartment are receiving congratulations on the birth of a daughter at their home July 7. This week a group of 25 girls from Lark, who ride to Bingham on a school bus, enrolled ut the Bingham Central school play-ground, Miss Helen Loveless, playground supervisor, reports. The Copperton playground, at the Copperton grade school from 2-- 4 p. m. each Wednesday and Friday, now lias .'ia youngsters enrolled in the dancing, handi craft and tennis classes. Duretta Larsen Atkinson of Lark is a member of the Brig-ha- Young university summer school. The first term ends July 19 and the Alpine term at Aspen Grove will commence July 22. Mr. and Mrs. James Marsh of Copperton and son, Albert Marsh, and Miss Leora Timothy return-ed Sunday from a five-da- y stay in Yellowstone national park. Mr. and Mrs. O. R. Warner and daughters, Mildred, Dorothy and Maxine, of Copperton, left yester-day for a y vacation in San Francisco. The Copperton and Bingham junior bands, accompanied by In-structor Joel P. Jensen, Mrs. Ro-bert Jenkins, Barbara Jenkins, Robert Krueger, Venice Williams and Cleo Groves, and transport-ed by a school bus driven by Parley Jones, enjoyed a swim and picnic at Saratoga Tuesday afternoon. Mrs. Rita McNeely gave the invocation. Evans and daughters, Claudia jnd Susan. o Picnic Party Set Monday An L. D. S. Priesthood picnic party will be held Monday, July 15, at 4 p. m. in Dry Fork canyon, Picnic Flats. All Priesthood mem-bers and their families are invit-ed to attend. Softball will be played in the afternoon, to be followed by a program in the evening at which Bishop David C. Lyon will be master of cere-monies. Those attending are to bring their picnic lunches with them. No. 1 Fire Auxiliary Mrs. William Cook entertained fourteen of the No. 1 Fire aux-iliary Monday evening, following a business meeting at which a report on the "Miss Bingham" contest was made. Prizes at cards went to Mrs. John O'Brien, Mrs. Loren Stokes and Mrs. Earl T. James. M Lady Democrats Plan Outing Tonight To leave the home of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Timothy at 5 p. m. tonight, members of the Women's Democratic club will picnic at the Murray City park.
