Wheal prices in the local market slumped 2c froni the high point of the day, because of heavy realising realis-ing sales. The greater part of tho loss was regained on covering by shoris, the December delivery showing a decline of only c at the clone. Corn was up ic. Oats were off Sc. Provisions were 7.Je to 17Jc lower. The market opened firm on active buying buy-ing by shortH, but prices soon weakened because of increasing receipts In the Northwest and a decline In the principal grain center: of Europe. The market was also bearlshly affected by a decline In the cash and export demand. When prices had dropped 2c from the top. they recovered recov-ered quickly on buyJng shorts.
