Manager Long to Resume Operations tho Present Week With the snowdrift reduced and the trails reopened, James Long, Jr.. manager man-ager of the properties of the Gobi Mountain Moun-tain Con. company, will leave for his camp on Gold Mountain again the last of the week, the campaign to bo prosecuted prose-cuted by him the present season to be more energetic than ever before. Already Al-ready the company Is In possession of a largo amount of ore. and with connections connec-tions that shall enable t to extract It through a lower tunnel tho construction of a mill will follow. Advices from the camp Indicate a greater amount of development during Uie year, and that several will b prepared pre-pared for plants before Its close Is now quite positively assured. That the output of gold from that source will also show an Increase for the year Is foretold in the enlargement of the Sevier's mill ami in the Increased tonnage which Is to be put through the crushers of the Annie I-aurle. Indeed, the latter has started out under the management of Mr. Levy in a manner to Indicate a record for tho year, and with the steam plant removed to the Junction and out of the reach of the elements the season should be free from an Interruption whatever. |
