Show COLORADO RIVER TRIP MADE BY THREE WOMEN, GUIDE An unforgettable experience, "the thrill of my life", is the way Mrs. Frank Barton of Blanding speaks of a recent three-day trip on the Colorado river. Here visiting her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Har-old Barton of Apex mine, Mrs. Barton and two sisters, Miss Marion Redd of Salt Lake City and Mrs. Edith Lewis of San Francisco, traveled down 80 miles of the Colorado, from the Hole in the Rock in San Juan county to Lee's Ferry, with Del Reed of Mexican Hat as guide. Mrs. Barton said she noticed markings left by Dr. R. G. Fraz-ier Fraz-ier and party and those of other Colorado river expeditions. Mrs. Barton arrived in Bing-Iham Bing-Iham October 3 for a stay of indefinite in-definite length. |
