M Barnes, who was well knowr both among railroad men and In social circles in Salt Lake City. Is dead In Highlands. Cal. Consumption was the cause of his death. A telegram announcing an-nouncing the demise was received yesterday yes-terday In this city. Mr. Barnes was for several years with General Passenger Agent Burley of the Oregon Short Line in this ity. He was also for a time with Dr. Plnkerton. He resigned his position with Mr Burley because of falling health and went to California. The news of his death will be sad tidings for many Salt Lake people. New Train to Chicago The Rock Island road has a new train out from Denver for the accommodation of east-going travel, making two one-night one-night trains over that road Into Chicago This train was brought about by connection connec-tion with the fast Kansas City train Into Chicago It connects In Denver with the Rio Grande's No. 2 from Salt Iakc Three trains now run from Denver and Colorado Colo-rado Springs Into Chicago, two of them being one-night trains Wool Now Moving.
