Palmer, plaintiff, who attached tho properties of the company for ?205, the defendant president. J. 11. Empy. absenting himself from tho trial and the Judgment going to plaintiff by default. Notices have been posted for Its salo Insldo of twenty days, after which the company has six months In which to redeem the property. The Callento Gold Mining company sold Its two claims adjoining- tho townslte of Callento today to Mr. Slbert of the Slbert Gold Mining Compnny of California for 52000 and work will be commenced on thcso properties Immediately. There Is a largo amount of shipping ore now on the dumps and tons of this grade of ore blocked out In the drifts and tunnel. The United Flags mines, located twenty-six miles west of Cnllente. have been sold this week to McMillan nnd Foster. San Diego mining men. for 50000 cash In sixty days, of which 10 per cent was paid today. The oro shown surface values of SIS In free gold and 4 ounces silver and ledges six feet wide havo been opened up on four claims.
