The total area of the Uintah Indian reservation res-ervation is 2,Uo.W) ncrcs, of which l.OlO.CXO acres has been placed in a permanent forest for-est reserve, 2oO,W) acres has been reserved for Indian grazing lands, 3S40 acres for tho Fort Duchcsno military reservation and approximately 112,000 acres has boon allotted to tho Indians, which leaves only 1,069,000 acres available for entry. Only non-mineral land can bo entered during tho first sixty days, and it Is considered con-sidered that not moro than one-half of tho land subject to agricultural entry will be doslrablo for homestead entries, tipon all of which irrigation will bo noccssary.
