Muir to members of a bridge club to which she belongs. Prizes went to Mrs. T. A. Tobiason, Mrs. Ross Hocking and Mrs. Marlund Eden. Mrs. Hock-ing was an invited guest. Visiting Sunday in Pleasant Grove were Mr. and Mrs. Clar-ence Robison, Russell, K., and Linda Jean, guests of Mrs. Robi-son- 's sister, Mrs. Robert Proctor. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Timothy and son, Ned, returned Tuesday evening after visiting several days with relatives. their regular monthly session. Refreshments were served by Mrs. Gunnar Olson and Mrs. George Nyland. All members are urged to attend the January 6th meeting, when important busi-ness will bo transacted. Last evening Mrs. Margaret Clements entertained lor her bridge club. Guests at dinner Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bates were Mr. and Nirs. Lloyd Houston, Mrs. Marie Shaw and Mrs. Leo Brisk. Later Mr. and Mrs. John Stanoway joined them to play cards. Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Faddis of American Fork, Mrs. Catherine Grant and Mrs. Florence Toy vi-sited Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Grant in Salt Lake City. The Faddis family were overnight guests Saturday at the Grant home. Mrs. Ernest Poulsen and Mrs. Alton Pearson, both of Copper-to-n, aunts of Mrs. Alton Angus, were her guests Monday. Stillman and son, Larry, motored to Coalville Saturday to visit rela-tives and friends. Bridge was played, prizes going to Miss Harris. Duane Loveless celebrated his fifth birthday at a party Satur-day afternoon. The 24 small guests played children's games and prizes given Jancll Hansen and Leslie Nichols. A two-cour-luncheon and pop corn favors were enjoyed by the youngsters. Friday evening light refresh-ments were enjoyed after the football dance at the home of Burton Durnford. Guests were Lola Jean Gammell, Lois Lar-se- n, Pauline Barkle, Douglas Goff and Kenneth Ray. Dinner guests November 27 at the H. L. Goff home were Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Mitchell and fa-mily. Mr. and Mrs. J. L. McKellar and family motored to Tooele Sunday to visit Mrs. McKellar's brother and wife ,Mr. and Mrs. P. E. Parsons. Returning with them was Mrs. McKellar's fa-ther, P. E. Parsons, who is plan-ning to spend the winter at the McKellar home. Attending the Junior Girls Ex-plorers dance at West Jordan Tuesday evening were Vida Rae Poulsen, Stella Stringer, Rhea Lou Olsen, Audrey Groves, Dor-othy Warner, Dorothy Hansen, Faye Cowdell, Edith Hornickel, Janice Hofheins, Lola Jean Gam-mell and Faye McKellar, who are members of the Copperton ward Junior Girls class. At the home of Mrs. L. C. Nicholl a quilting Monday after-noon was attended by Mrs. L. E. Barnett, Mrs. Cecil Downs and Mrs. Albert Ray. A two-cour- se luncheon was served. A card party was given at the home of Mrs. L. 0. Nicholl Tuesday evening. Guests were Mrs. Joe Swain, Mrs. L. E. Bar-nett and Mrs. Laura McDonald of Midvale. A two course lunch-eon was served. A quilting was given Thursday af the home of Mrs. Albert Ray. Guests were Mrs. C. E. Nichols, Mrs. Cecil Downs, Mrs. L. E. Bar-nett, Mrs. Dewey Mayne, Mrs. Mel Olsen and Mrs. O- - R. "War-ner. The guests were Mr. and Mrs. Bert Cheever, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Larson, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Peterson, Mr. and Mrs. Elvin Armitstead, Mrs. Dal-las Anderson. Cards were played and the prizes were won by Mrs. Dallas Anderson and Frank Pe-terson. A late luncheon was serv-ed, Clinton Poulsen returned home Sunday from a twelve day stay in St. Mark's hospital. Sunday dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Cow-dell were Mrs. Cowdell's mother and sister, Mrs. Daisy Draper, and Mr. and Mrs. Elden Ander-son and family of Provo. Ladies Aid was held at the home of Mrs. Dallas Anderson Monday evening. Refreshments were served. Next meeting will be at the home of Mrs. J. H. Barkle on January 5. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Peterson and son, Dick, were visitors Sat-urday at the home of Mrs. Pe-terson's sister and brother-in-la- Mr. and Mrs. Frank Atwood of Pleasant Grove; and Mr. Pe-terson's sister and brother-in-la- Mr. and Mrs. John Whimpey of Lehi. In honor of Gay Armitstead on her fifth birthday a party was given at the home of her par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Elvin Armit-stead, Sunday. Guests were Col-leen Larson, Carolyn Pollard, Ann Diederich, Marilyn and Cyn-thia Odell, Duane Loveless, Bob-bie Peterson, David Peterson, Arnold Stringer, David Mitchell and Larry Sax. Mir-iam and her guest, Miss Shirley Sutton, also of St. Mary"-of-th- e Wasatch, spent Sunday skiing at Alta, and later enjoyed a turkey dinner. In honor of Norma Swain on her eleventh birthday a party was given at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. G. O. Swain, on Thursday, November 27. The guests were Margaret McKellar, Erma June Gammell, Bonnie Bitheli Margaret Nix, Carol Peterson, Lois Groves, Joyce Miller, Janice Hansen, Col-leen Robison, Shirley Watkins, Carol Pearson, Katherine King, Doris Anderson, Donald Ben-nio- n, Tommy Brown, Davie Brec-ko- n, Walter Fennis, Davie Lee Blanchard, Gene Olson, Robert Cowdell and Bobbie Pullan.
