Apostlo John Alexander Alex-ander Dowlo is proparlng to begin work on tho new Zlcn City tabernacle, to cost Ji'.00.GCi0, and accommodate 10,000 persons. It Is announced that ground will bo broken bro-ken November 1. Tho construction will provldo employment for aM tho men In Zlon not working In tho factories. The original plans of Apostlo Dowin havo been changed. Ho had intended to build a steel structure, but will uso co-mont, co-mont, gravel and stone, and considerable marble, instead One of tho features of the temple will bo a tower 150 feet high. Tho slto Is Just northeast of the present Sblloh tabernacle. It Is oxpocted to havo the structuro completed in a year and a half. Whllo It goncrally had been bollovcd that iho new tomplo was to bo the permanent per-manent place of worship for Zlon, Apostlo Dowlo announced that aftor tlvo or six years It would be converted Into a college building.
