Mr. and Mrs. Kcclcy were passengers passen-gers on Rio Grande No. 5 yesterday and when' the lady arrived here 3h reported re-ported the loss of her watch en route. She missed it just after breakfast and was of the opinion that it was dropped of tho train. The time-piece was a valuable one and the company will make every effort to locate it. General Attorney Marshall of the Southern Pacific went to Ogden last night on business. Mr. McNitt, as auditor of the Short Line, is having built up around him tho largest official household In the general office. He has now quite a staff of chief clerks over each department. A. F. Brewer, who takes the r.owly-creatod r.owly-creatod ofllce of car service ngont, is an old-timer hereabouts, although a young man. He was with Larry Mal-loy Mal-loy of Cheyenne, and later chief clerk to Mr. Calvin at Pocatello, then for several years with Mr. Young on the Utah division, and then with Mr. Calvin Cal-vin again in this city. Pie was made car accountant in 1002 and ha3 ablo filled the position. Mr. Brewer has wide circle of friends. |
