Show m CHANGE IN ' GAR ACCOUNTING , Auditor Takes Accounts and A. F. Brewer Is Car Service Agent. TWO Important circulars will be Issued Is-sued from Oregon Short Line headquarters this morning. One comes from the ofllce of General Superintendent E. Buckingham and will name A. F, Brewer a3 car service agent of the company with Jurisdiction over the lines embraced In the operations opera-tions of the department. The other will be from the oflico of Auditor C. J. Itfc-Nltt Itfc-Nltt and will detail the abolition of the ofllce of car accountant with the result that hereafter all records of that department de-partment will be handled by the accounting ac-counting department, Including car accounts ac-counts for the lines west and east of Ogden which were lately added to the Short Line operating department. C. L. Klmcrcr Is named as chief filerk of car accounts In the auditor's ofllce. The changes are effective July 1. Mr. Brewer has moved hla desk and with his stenpgrapher has been assigned as-signed place in tho offices of Mr. Buckingham. Buck-ingham. As car service agent he will have charge of the movement and distribution dis-tribution of all equipment as hereto- ! forr. done In the auditor's office. This arrangement Is the modern system sys-tem of keeping the record of cars J adopted by leading roads and Is in line with the excellent system being adopted adopt-ed by tho Short Line In Itc work. It means added responsibility to nil con-cerned, con-cerned, but at the same time the work will be simplified, Superintendent of Telegraph Forbes takes the room formerly occupied by Mr. Brewer. |
