Mr. Moyer said In pail: "The deportation of the union men and others being In my opinion unlawful, un-lawful, the Western Federation of Miners Mi-ners will use all lawfui means lo reestablish re-establish their members in their homes. No violence will be resorted to, but such legal steps as may be necessary to bring about thQ desired results will be taken at the proper time. Pending such action, ac-tion, deported members and their fumi-lles fumi-lles will be supported by the federation. "Gen. Bell claims that his pbllcy has been successful and that other States are expected to follow suit. If this" be true, then rebellion Is not Improbable, 'as the great majority of the American people are today condemning- such a system and, regardless of .unionism, would bitterly resist any attempt to put the same Into practice. I disagree with the General as to the labor troubles being be-ing settled In Colorado, but do believe they will be settled by the ballot in the month of November" |
