It won't surprise eastern Utah to see the Crevasso Gllsonltc spur extended north nlong White river to connect with the Moffat line, and a link built across from Crevasse, via Sallna canyon, to connect with tho Clark road, tapping the Immense coal deponits of Em-cry Em-cry county' nnd the Iron deposits of Iron county, a combination that would mako possible tho cheap production of Iron and strcel by tho erection of plants In Iron county at a cost that would "defy competition. competi-tion. ThiH would employ hundreds of men in Iron county at tho mines and furnaces, rolling mills, etc.; hundreds more men would mlno coal In Emery county, an immense im-mense tonnage would accrue to both tho Moffat and Clark roads, and Denver would get a short line to os Angoles. Coal and Iron from Utah would be almost al-most universally used along tho 'Pacific coast, and tho transportation facilities of the two roads taxed to their utmost to carry Utah's products.
