Overridden Miscellaneous Business il i 7 The liquor ordinance carne up again at last nights meetIng of the Council but the matter had been settled out of court and Robinson Introduced ail amendment which practlfltUly > met all of the Mayor objections So the voto was not considered at all WHOLESALE AND RETAIL I According to the patchedup ordinance ordi-nance a wholesaler Is one who sellsvor otherwise disposes of such liquors in any quantity of flvo gallons or more The retailer Is defined as a vendor of less than five gallons and also ao one who tells by the glass or dram A druggist may sell liquor by the bottle or package or In his proscriptions but he must never sell over five gallons atone at-one sale If ho exceeds this limit he becomes a Jobber and has to pay wholesale license An embargo Is put on any person firm or corporation conducting con-ducting any wholesale retail drug ctore or selling by the drink This practically covered the amendments amend-ments and after the clerk
