Show WEEKLY CROP BULLETIN Director Murdochs Report of Conditions Con-ditions in Utah Tho week ended September 1st opened with temperature above normal but the latter part was cooler than usual The average temperature for the week was about normal Heavy frost occurred oc-curred In the elevated valleys of the north central part of the State on the morning oC the lst < killing tender plants In places Thunder showers were general over the State from the 26th to 2Sth In the counties Just east of the Wasatch range the precipitation was heavy enough to be of considerable value to laic crops and the ranges but elsewhere the rainfall was too light to be of much servIce Thrashing Is now well under way Wheat and oats from Irrigated fields are making about tho average yield Corn continues to do well and roasting cars arc now plentiful plenti-ful Potatoes mado good growth but will not make an average yield Sugar beets did well and will majco a full crop Tomatoes ripened very slowly Fall ploughing has begun In some localities lo-calities |
