| Show I BEAVER CON SULPHIDES The Ore Makes at 225 Feet i in the Shaft Ii WATER LEVEL IN THE 0 K Capt Ferriss Prediction About I to Be Fulfilled I The Incline Shaft of the Ben Harrison Harri-son Mino Nearly to theO the-O K Level From a letter received by Manager t Trenarn of the Beaver Consolidated and the Ben Harrison It Is learned Hint sulphide ores are now appearing In the shaft of the former The shaft is now down 22I feet and when the letter was I posted fully onehalf of the ore of the rompnrlments was In the I sulphides From samples received at the same lime and taken from the shaft at Its deepest point it Is plain to be seen that the highgrade ores which always make at depths In I the neighborhood Is sure to be encountered The ore while low grade on the whole shows some very fair copper In spots one sample having a seam of copper running through It which was almost pure Mr Trenam was very much pleased with I the showing made The Ben IFurrlFon incline is getting near to the greatest depths of the deepest deep-est workings In the district and Is showing also a fine quality of ore It Is proven beyond a doubt that water has appeared In the O K I as reported re-ported In The Tribune and the words of Manager Ferris ot that mine are cornIng corn-ing true The water so far Is not corning corn-ing In in any great quantity and Is as heavily Impregnated with copper as It well can be As to whether It Is merely a seep and not a regular flow has not yet been determined From word received by Mr Ilenshaw he Is Inclined to the former theory Others direct from camp say that water level 1 has been reached and that a regular How may be expected from now on With the workings of the two deepest infnes so near together Ills only a question of a few days before It will be nettled one way or the other |
