I KEYSTONE TO CROSSCUT To Establish a Level and Drive for Well Defined Ledges The management of the Keystone at Park City has decided to go across the country from its new shaft to Its I well defined ledges and to that t end is now establishing a level al I a depth of 125 feet the shaft meanwhile to continue on down and a second level to be established estab-lished at a depth of lioO feet The crosscut cross-cut from the upper level will be to tap the Crescent ledge as it is characterized character-ized by SupU Klrby of the Daly West in which a nice quality of lead ore Is now exposed off the tunnel level with the copper or back voln to be reached a few feet distant L In 1 the latter ore is now exposed which affords as much as 35 per i cent copper with eight ounces silver per ton and Supt Harrington believes be-lieves that in the crosscut fiom the shaft lie will encounter the ore bodies for which he is searching From the L50fooL level l a crosscut will be run to tap the Apex vein by l which the Keith and Ivonrns companys ground Is traversed trav-ersed
