TONGUE IS AT REST Funeral of Lntc Congressman Occurs at Hillsboro Oregon lllllsboro Or Jan ISThc remains of the late Congressman Thomas II Tongue were laid to rest today the funeral ceremonies cere-monies being attended by 1 OGO people whom of Congressmen among were a delegation gressmen from Washington the entire Oregon State Legislature the Governor tho t State offlciaJs and numerous fraternal frater-nal bodies Tho remains lay In Slate In the hall of the Fashlngton county courthouse from 10 a m until 2 p m when they were taken to the Methodist church of which Mr Tongue was a member After the church services the funeral procession headed by tho Grand Mnwnilc lodge of Oregon was formed and the rc malnu escorted to the neighboring cemetery ceme-tery where they were burled with full Masonic honor Many special trains were run to IIllls boro today I In order that the mourning friends and constituents of MY Tongue might attend the last sad rites The Congressional delegation which accompanied ac-companied the remains from clllJlnle Washington started on their homeward journey tonight to-night going by way of California
