Show TAKEN UNDER ADVISEMENT I AttorneyGeneral Knox Will Decide the lIncMian Oaso in a i Few Days Washington March 30 Attorney General Kno today gave n hearing to Judge Daniel MacMillan of the Supreme Su-preme court of New Mexico against whom charges of Immorality has been preferred by citizens of that Territory After the charges and the evidence in support 01 them as fed In the Department Depart-ment of Justice had been read counsel Juslcu leLt for Judge MacMIllan filed voluminous affidavits In contradiction of the charges They supplemented these with a large number of letters and telegrams tele-grams from citizens of the Territory that they had no confidence In the charges The AttorneyGeneral took the matter under consideration and it will be some days before a decision is rendered Jcncer < John G Mllburn of Buffalo N Y an old friend appeared as the legal representative repre-sentative of Justice MacMillan and made an earnest argument In his behalf be-half Secretary Root who because of his acquaintance with Hudge MacMIllan and friendship for him Is Interested In the case was present ns an auditor merely |
