to smelt a large amount of slllcious ores carrying gold copper silver and lead supplied by = the Dalton Lark mines owned by this company The property of the Utah Consolidated Consoli-dated Is situated in this dIstrict and is one of the big mines of the country is well equipped and possesses a fine smelting plant In Salt Lake valley The U S Mining company Is also situated in Ihls district und owns mines of great value Some of the mines Included In Its possessions have produced tens of millions of dollars Tills company Is now building a smelting smelt-ing plant on the Jordan river twelve miles south of Salt Lake City at a cost when completed of not less than 51000000 A few months should see this plant In operation They have Immense reserves re-serves of copper silver silverlead i ores blocked out In their various mines sufficient to keep their large I plant in operation for years to come The Boston company Is one of the I coming properties of the district and no doubt will soon
