It took place last Wednesday at noon at the home of the brides parents pa-rents Col and Mrs John W Donnel Inn of Sacramento The decorations were very beautiful the American flag crossed guns and swords being l conspicuous con-spicuous while the floral decorations consisted entirely of white chrysanthc mums and greens Bishop Grace performed per-formed the ceremony the bride and groom standing beneath a canopy of white chrysanthemums suspended from crossed guns On one side of the canopy can-opy guns were stacked and on the other were flags and various accoutrements accou-trements of the camp The bride wore a very beautiful gown of white silk trimmed with 1 Vallomienn and lose point lace Miss Donnellan the maid of honor was also gowned in white a Urge picture hat of white tulle with long ostrich plumes and a muff of chrysanthemums completing the costume cos-tume The bridesmaids were Miss Laura Sherman Miss Salisbury Miss McGiath and Miss Mary Klnney They wore gowns of Infantry blue crepe dc chine made over white taffeta with La Tasco hats of black chiffon trimmed with ostrich plumes and carried staffs of white chrysanthemums John Til l ton Donnellan a brother of the bride the moet delightful dancing parties of the season was that of Wednesday last at the home of Miss Mcintyre the event being In honor of Miss Dern whose marriage to Mr Dick takes place on Wednesday next The already beautiful home was made still more attractive by the use of palms and flowers The large reception hall and the parlors to the cast were cleared for dancing and decorated entirely with palms and smllax Red carnations and smllar acre seen in the llbiary yellow chrysanthemums In the liylngrooiri and thc naltonal colors in the conservatory where punch was served But the most beautiful decorations wore reserved for the diningroom which was done all In green and white A high cutglass vase ot white chrysanthemums rising from a bed of smilax edged with a filmy drapery of tulle formed
