convention and to the Judicial district convention convened con-vened at 10 oclock today with County Chairman Jesse M Smith of Layton I acting as temporary 1 chairman and William L GalbraIth of Kaysvllle as I secretary The appointing of committees on permanent per-manent organisation credentials and resolutions closed the morning session Just before an adjournment was taken the question of nominating a county ticket nt thIs time which was originally origi-nally determined upon by the county commItal was discussed and on motion mo-tion of John Walsh of Farmlngton the convention voted unanimously to defer county nominations until later date not fixed The delegates were then invited by Mrs Lucy A Clark of Furmlngton ton to-n dinner at her house and the thirty I persons present from the county accepted ac-cepted tho Invitation An excellent spread had been prepared by 1Irs Clark and the loc J Republican club I and it was nearly i oclock when the I delegates resumed their labors
