Show l RESCUE SOCIETY HOMELES I NQw Compelled t Pay for the Board I of its Girls Once more after feeling assured that they had at last secured a home whore I there could be no possible objection to their entering the board of directors of the Womans Home association I finds itself without 0 place to take any girls or women who may apply for shelter The directors had made all arrangements to move into u house in the southern part of the city 3 house owned and at present occupied by Judge W W Gee but a petition was circulated and signed protesting against the home being located there and as the ladles in charge do not wish to antagonize any one In the matter I they quietly withdrew There are three glrlo now being cared for by the association but as their I board has to be paid It Is I a most expensive ex-pensive undertaking The directors are still hopeful however I how-ever that they will yet be successful In securing suitable quarters where they may accommodate those alieady in their charge and others who are anxious anx-ious to come |
