WILL SLEEP IN ARLINGTON BODY OF GEN STANTON TO BE INTERRED AT CAPITAL Simple and Impressive Service were Held Over His Remains at His late Homo in Omaha Omaha Jan 25The residence of the late Gen T H Stanton was crowded this afternoon by Intimate friends of the deceased both In and out of the I I army when the simple and impressive I services wereheld The services were i conducted by I Rev T J Mackay rec lor of All Saints Kplscopal church assisted as-sisted by TIer Newton Mann of Unity church Thlf evening time remains were placed on the caalbound t Burlington train and will bo taken to Washington for interment inter-ment in Arlington cemetery They were accompanied by Mrs Stanton her two daughters and a few close friends of the family The remains were escorted to the depot de-pot by a detail of men from the Tenth Infantry from Fort Crook and an honorary hon-orary guard from the Legion of Honor During the funeral ceremony the coffin cof-fin stood in the front parlor covered by an American flag and surrounded by a wealth of flowers A detail of soldiers stood guard On the coffin the only Inscrlptoln was on a plain silver plate which read Gen T H Stanton Stan-ton
