Show DAMAGE CASE ON TRIAL J George n Budds Suit Against Salt Lake City Company Judge Cherry and a Jury were occupied occu-pied yesterday afternoon In the trial of the damage suit of George H Budd vs the Salt Lake City Railroad company com-pany Ferguson Cannon Tanner roprc ent the plaintiff and Pierce Crltchlow Barrette were for the defendant de-fendant company The plaintiff alleged that on July 25th last while ho waY a passenger on one of thedefcndant com panys cams 1 collision with another car occurred on Fourth East below Tenth South streets and that In consequence I the plaintiff was thrown from his seat and very seriously hurt both cxler nally and Internally to his damage In the sum of 15000 The collision It Is alleged was caused by the t negligence of the companys servants The defendant admlttcd the collision and admitted that it was caused by the negligent and careless management and driving of the cars by two of Us employees em-ployees but the company denied that the plaintiff was seriously hurt or hurt at all The plaintiff was on the w it ness stand most of the afternoon and his testimony went to show that he was seriously injured The horVTIng will be resumed this morning |
