THROUGHOUT COLORADO Wires Are Down and Railroad Traffic Badly Impeded V VV S Denver Cola Nov 21A storm of V wind In some places accompanied V by snow has been raging today In various ragng portions of Colorado and so far as reports re-ports have been received Is still at its height All wires to the western part of tho State are down and railroad traffic Is badly impeded by snow and trees on the tracks The most serious damage so far reported re-ported has occurred at Colorado Springs which was for hours completely complete-ly cut off from communication by wire The Western Union has succeeded In repairing one wire to Kansas City over V which brief accountn of the damage aro V coining out A number of people are reported Injured and Col Edgar T Ensign a prominent business man who was struck by a falling telephone pole may die A high wind prevails at Pueblo but no damage has been done Lcadvlllc Ladvie reports considerable snow but t light I winds Monument fifteen miles north of Colorado Springs has suffered from the winds Several buildings have been wrecked but no one Injured V Between Alamosa and Durango the Denver Rio Grande railroad la blocked hy drifting snow In the southern south-ern portion ot San Luis valley the snowfall has been very heavy
