arrested In the Richards street roominghouse on Wednesday morning early the charge being adultery adul-tery and the complaint being made by the brother 01 the woman were arraigned ar-raigned befou Judge TImmony yesterday yester-day and both entered pleas ot not guilty Dennis Elchnor appeared asS as-S counsel for the defendants and Gunter for the prosecution Mrs Calllster was accompanied by her mother who Is postmistress oC Cenlervllle and the fourth wife of W R Srnltn an old resident of that place Mrs Calllster Is halfsister to the first I Mrs 1 H Roberts She was pale and 1 evidently very much worried over the matter but answered not guilty In a firm tone of voice The bond In each case was fixed at 5500 those for the woman being furnished by her mother and a friend of the family Ady however how-ever vas unable to got ball and was cent to the county jail The case will be heard on Tuesday next A wellknown resident who came down from Centerville yesterday said there were many who while not condoning con-doning the acts of the woman who was regarded as having acted Indiscreetly I Indis-creetly even If not guilty of the crime charged were not slow In condemning the brother who A Ady in Salt Lake early this morning created somewhat of a sensation In all parts of Davis county where Mrs Cal llster Is widely known Especially was it a surprise to people outside of Cen terville who have had no knowledge cf events that have led up to the sensational sensa-tional denouement To Contcrvllle people however such a culmination has been feared and expected for sometime some-time The actions of the couple are said to havo been far from discreet for months pastand so open had the relations rela-tions of Ady and Mrs Calllster become lately that the man was discharged on Saturday last from the employ of tho Davis County Nurseries over which he IlIad been foreman since last April having cone here from Missouri Sirs Cnlllster Is a bright young woman wo-man of prepossessing appearance She has beer acting as assistant to her mother Mrs Nellie Smith who la Cen terIIIes postmistress She was married mar-ried in April 1S9S to Russet 1C Callls ter o Flllmore who Is spoken of bal b-al who know him as n young man of excellent character For some time the young couple lived at the Smith residence resi-dence here but early last spring Mr Calllster found employment in the mines at Fureka Ills wife remained here to assist her mother expecting later to Join him I Is said that the relations between husband and wife became somewhat strained after the death of their only child
