Show Utahn Appointed To Advisory Group Senator Frank E. Moss (D-Utah) (D-Utah) announced Friday that Utah County Commissioner G. Marion Hinckley has been appointed ap-pointed to the National Agricultural Agri-cultural Advisory Committee on Milk and Dairy Products. The 35-member committee will hold its next meeting in Washington, Wash-ington, D.C., January 11 and 12 Moss said. The committee is one of several sev-eral appointed to advise Secretary Secre-tary of Agriculture Orville Freeman Free-man on the provisions and administration ad-ministration of farm programs for specific agricultural commodities commo-dities and commodity groups. Since 1930 Commissioner Hinckley has been engaged in agricultural production and marketing, mar-keting, especially of dairy products, prod-ucts, Senator Moss said. Hinckley served as Provo City councilman in 1955-56, and as mayor 1957-58. He has served on the Utah County Commission since 1959, and was chairman of the commission in 1959-60. He is a member of the Utah Water Users Association. He is married to the former Nita Johnson and they have five children. |
