Show City Board Amends Sales Tax Ruling To Balance Budget An amended ordinance approved ap-proved Wednesday by the Salt Lake City Commission provides a minimum of $400,000 must be placed in the capital improvements improve-ments fund from the sales tax. Revision will enable the commission com-mission to balance a proposed 1962 half-year budget totaling $6,879,375 for governmental operations, op-erations, including $1,174,722.00 for the separate water department depart-ment utility budget. |
