Show Ogden Demo Leader Submits Resignation To Governor Clyde Democratic State Sen. Frank M. Browning of Ogden this week submitted his resignation from the Senate to Gov. George D. Clyde. Sen. Browning was reelected re-elected last November to a four year term. He said his reason for the resignation res-ignation was a change of residence resi-dence from the district he was chosen to represent. He said he and his two sons are building homes on acreage in the Weber County First Senatorial District, which is represented by Sen. J. Francis Fowles, Ogden Democrat. Demo-crat. Sen. Browning did not indicate indi-cate if he planned to seek election elec-tion to the senate from his new district. A banker and businessmen, he served in the 1959-61 session by election to an unexpired term His resignation, coupled with that of Sen. Charles Steen, Moab Republican, creates two vacancies vacan-cies in the Senate. |
